Trophy Stall continues pushing sport ahead

Trophy Stall has been serving the nation of Guyana for a number of years, and have impacted the world of sport both abroad and locally, making them a household name on the lips of many Guyanese.

The man behind the driving force is none other than proprietor Ramesh Sunich.
Trophy Stall has sponsored many local cricket, softball, volleyball, horse racing, cycling, badminton, football, chess and other tournaments over the years. The entity has functioned out of its Bourda Market Branch, South Road, City Mall and recently opened Port Mourant, Berbice branch.
No one can question the benevolence of businessman Ramesh Sunich. A Masters Softball player and avid sports enthusiast, Sunich continues to express his deep love for the growth and development of sports in his homeland.
In a society where sponsorship for sporting activities is hard to come by, Sunich has demonstrated the desire to make a difference by willingly donating trophies, medals and other paraphernalia to just about everyone who turns up at his counter.
This generous Guyanese has put smiles on the faces of many of his countrymen and women who excel in their respective disciplines, and this has made him a well-known figure in the sporting arena.
He was even awarded Sports personality of the year in 2018 because of his impeccable work in the sporting arena. One of the highlights for the Trophy Stall business was the sponsoring of the Toronto Cup, which was held in Canada in September.
Sunich was particularly inspired by his father Neville Sunich who was a jockey and owned a business stall in Bourda Market. From this his love for sports stemmed, whatever the sport Sunich’s mentality for the growth of sports in Guyana will always be top priority when it comes to the role his business plays locally and abroad.
