TSU romp to 8-wicket victory over Combined Regions 4A and 4B

The Tactical Services Unit (TSU) produced a dominant performance to secure an emphatic eight-wicket victory over the combined Regions 4A and 4B teams in the Commissioner of Police T20 Cup on Thursday at the Police Sports Club Ground.
After winning the toss and opting to bat, the combined Regions side posted 154 for seven from their allotted 20 overs, with Domall Collins leading the way with a composed 38.
Quacy Kendall and Troy Drakes provided valuable support with 23 and 20 runs, respectively, as Re-gions 4A and 4B set TSU a target of 155 for victory.
Andre Baker was the pick of the TSU bowlers, claiming three wickets for just 15 runs from his three overs. Aeon Rodrigues chipped in with two for 31 from four overs, while Damion Sardinha took one for 35 from his four-over spell.
Rain briefly interrupted proceedings, but the delay did little to disrupt TSU’s momentum when play resumed.

The TSU batsmen attacked from the outset, racing to 155 for two in just 15.2 overs to seal a compre-hensive victory.
Rodrigues was the star of the run chase, unleashing a blistering 52 from only 20 deliveries. His innings featured six sixes and three fours and effectively took the game away from the combined Regions side.
Alex Burnett contributed a solid 39, while Sardinha remained unbeaten on 30 to help steer TSU com-fortably across the finish line.
Odida Douglas was the most successful bowler for Regions 4A and 4B, taking two wickets for 28 runs from 3.2 overs. Drakes claimed the other TSU wicket, finishing with one for 41 from three overs.
The victory underlined TSU’s batting firepower and bowling discipline as the Commissioner of Police T20 Cup continues, with teams from across the Guyana Police Force competing for honours in this year’s tournament.
