Tucville, West Ruimveldt B play unbeaten in U-13 football

Tucville and West Ruimveldt B were certainly two of the standout teams when the Banks DIH Limited sponsored Alex Bunbury Sports and Academics Academy (ABSAA) under-13 football Championship continued on Wednesday at the Parade Ground.
Tuville romped to one win and two draws from their three matches and were led by the day’s leading goal scorer Shemroy Myers who hit

the back of the net on four occasions and Martin King who scored twice on a day where six matches were played.
Donning an orange outfit, Tucville eased pass Grove B 3-0 in their first match then drew with West Ruimveldt B 2-2.
In their other match, they drew 1-1 with Grove A; West Ruimveldt B other two matches saw them winning 1-0 against both Grove A and Grove B.

The clash of the two Grove teams ended in a nil-all stalemate.
On Saturday, the finals will commence from 11:00h at the same venue, with the competing teams being Kingston, Tiger Bay,  Eastville, West Ruimveldt B,  Turville, Grove, Plasiace and Workmanville.
Trophies and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers. Other sponsors of the event include the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), Samuel Bunbury, James Paul (USA), Puran Brothers Disposal Incorporated, the Petra Organisation, Donna Shop (Fort Kingston), Frontline Hardware Store (Plasiance) and Trophy Stall.
