Thirty-four-year-old Munilall Narine of Lot 1623 Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo appeared last week before the Leonora Magistrate to answer a charge alleging that he assaulted his neighbour Jasmine Singh on June 7, 2018.
Narine had previously been charged for assaulting the woman after they had been embroiled in an argument. Following that incident, he was placed on a bond to keep the peace, but he has violated that bond.
He has now been placed on $50,000 bail, and will return to court on July 12.
