“Uncensored” to storm NCC this weekend

In a matter of hours, the National Cultural Centre will be in an uproar as the 10th edition of “Uncensored” is set to invade the entertainment centre. The comedy show will be held on Saturday, December 29 and Sunday, December 30.
Known for its class acts, “Uncensored” provides comedians with a stage that has removed certain limitations, allowing them the liberty of expressing themselves and making the kind of jokes they would not otherwise be allowed to make anywhere else. Thus, the show caters to adults only.
Both nights will be completely different shows, with the first night seeing a line-up of comedians competing for the coveted title of “Uncensored King or Queen”. Who will dethrone Odessa Primus? Or will she keep her crown? That is the question on everyone’s minds. The second night will see the comedians in a clash which promises to be a roasting session. Most people are anticipating the clash between Kirwyn Mars and newcomer Kunchi Reynolds, also known as “Miss Pepper”.
The show will feature other comedians such as Lyndon “Jumbie” Jones; Michael Ignatius; Mark Luke Edwards; Kirt “Chubby” Williams; Kwasi “Ace” Edmondson; Jermaine Grimmond; Mark Kazim, also called “Chiney Man”; Paul Burnette; Marlon Jacobs; Randolph Critchlow; “Granny Ivelaw” Campbell; and Annie.
Tickets cost $1000, $2000 and $3000 and are available at the National Cultural Centre, Gizmos and Gadgets, Giftland Mall, Elegance Jewellery, Payless Variety and Kirwyn Mars. The show is billed to start at precisely 20:00h. Dress code is in effect.
However, after the show, all roads will lead to the 704 Night Club for Team MMR’s CSI party. It will be a night of frolic and fun.
