Asif Mohamed Abrahim will spend the next four years behind bars for trafficking in person.

Abrahim was sentenced by Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh at the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrate’s Court on Monday to 48 months in prison for the TIP charge and one month on an assault charge. These sentences will run concurrently.
He was found guilty of trafficking and assaulting a female Venezuelan, between November 3, 2023 and January 18, 2024 at New Road Vreed-en-Hoop, West Coast Demerara.
