Wanted man arrested for rape, ganja possession

A 28-year-old Buxtonian, who has been evading justice for some time, having been granted bail by the court on a joint charge of rape and for whom an arrest warrant was issued, was on Tuesday night arrested by ranks of a Police patrol at

Sideline Dam, Annandale, East Coast Demerara.
At the time of the arrest, the accused rapist, who is also wanted for questioning in relation to several armed robberies, was found in possession of 29 grams of cannabis, packaged in small-sized zip lock bags.
