The man who brutally murdered 41-year-old businesswoman and her two young sons in September 2012 at Anna Catherina, West Coast Demerara, on Sunday reportedly confessed to the killings.
Reports are that the man was arrested on Saturday after his present paramour went to a West Coast Demerara Police Station to make a domestic violence report.
Whilst making the report the woman allegedly told Police that her spouse is a ‘killer’ noting that the Police should question him about the 2012 murder of the businesswoman and her sons. As such the man was arrested.
On Sunday morning in an unexpected turn of events the man allegedly confessed to the murders of Jennifer Persaud, who was the owner of a liquor store and bar at Anna Catherina and her sons Afridi Bacchus, 6, and Jadon Persaud who was 18 months old at the time.
This newspaper was told the suspect confessed that he broke into the businesswoman’s house in an attempt to rob her but she woke up and confronted him. He admitted he killed her and then her children, since she knew him and would have been able to identify him.
The bodies of Persaud also called “Jenny” and her two sons were found on September 23, 2012 at about 20:10h at her Lot 67 Sea View, Anna Catherina, WCD with their throats slit in a bedroom of their two-storey house.
