– says CEO Johnny Grave
According to Cricket West Indies (CWI) Chief Executive Officer Johnny Grave, details of the West Indies Test and One Day International (ODI) squads to tour Bangladesh are expected to be announced in the upcoming week.

Grave disclosed on the most recent Mason and Guest radio programme that no reserve player would be on tour, since there will be a crossover of players and the tour is much shorter.
“…a Test squad of 15 players and an ODI squad of similar amount, and therefore with crossover (from) the two squads; so, 24-25 players along with the team management unit… I don’t think we will travel to Bangladesh with reserves, since the ODI players will be there,” Grave said.

The West Indies players would arrive in Dhaka on January 10. Grave noted that the team would leave the Caribbean a week later than scheduled at the inception, since the board sees the need for players to spend that extra time with their families during the holiday season.
West Indies will tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and two Tests in January. CWI made this confirmation after their inspection team reported to the board of directors on what they saw during their short trip earlier this month. The tour will be a shortened one from what was originally scheduled, as there will be one less Test and no T20I series.
