West Indies Championship 2022: GCB names Guyana Harpy Eagles squad for remaining 3 rounds

The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) has announced a 15-man squad for the remaining three rounds of the West Indies Championship 2022. The Guyana Harpy Eagles will play Barbados Pride from May 18-21 at the Queen’s Park Oval; Jamaica Scorpions from May 25-28 at Diego Martin; and Trinidad and Tobago Red Force from June 1-4 at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad.

With 21.4 points, the Guyana Harpy Eagles are currently in fourth place in the points standings, behind third-placed Leeward Islands Hurricanes who have 24.6 points. Trinidad and Tobago Red Force have 38.6 points, and Barbados Pride have 42.0 points.
The Guyana Harpy Eagles squad for the remaining rounds comprise: Leon Johnson (captain), Keemo Paul (vice-captain), Chandrapaul Hemraj, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Tevin Imlach, Vishaul Singh, Akshaya Persaud, Anthony Bramble, Veerasammy Permaul, Gudakesh Motie, Nial Smith, Demeter Cameron, Antony Adams, Kevin Sinclair and Ronsford Beaton.
Team Manager is Albert Clements (Smith), Head Coach is Esuan Crandon, Assistant Coach is Ryan Hercules, Cricket Analyst is Keshava Ramphal, and Physiotherapist is Angelica Holder.
Prior to resumption of the regional tournament, the Guyana squad will be engaged in the final practice match at the Guyana National Stadium from Monday, May 9, to Thursday, May 12. Play is scheduled from 09:30h to 16:30h each day.
