Show promises a spectacular explosion of women empowerment
As the days count down to the grand coronation of the Miss, Mrs and Teen India Guyana 2019; plans are moving apace to host this glamorous event in grand style.
The event is set to be a display of poise, elegance, beauty, talent, intelligence but more importantly, women empowerment.
This edition will focus on empowering women which is an important element of the growth and development of not only our country but for the Miss India Guyana brand.
As such, the evening will see many attributes of such from an all experienced panel of empowered women of Indian origin within our country, as well as the guest of honour, Miss India Worldwide 2018 – Shree Siani.
Another highlight of the pageant is the introduction of the “Women of Substance” Award which will be presented annually.
This award will be presented to three former beauty queens who are still contributing to the growth and development of the Indian culture and Guyana’s pageant and entertainment industry.
However, the event is about the sensational six delegates vying for the Miss India Guyana title. They will be judged in introduction, evening wear, Indian wear and the intelligent segments.
The winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Mumbai and the opportunity to represent Guyana at the 28th annual Miss India Worldwide Pageant. She will also receive great prizes.
This year Mrs India Guyana 2019 was selected and will be unveiled on the night of the grand coronation. She will replace the reigning queen, Shivanie Latchman.
The international pageant is introducing this year the first staging of Miss India Worldwide Teen 2019, after successfully executing Miss Teen India USA for 12 years.
This pageant will mirror the segments of the other two with the age requirement being between the ages of 13 and 17 years. A selection was done and one lucky young lady with good values, talent and intelligence will be crowned as the very first Miss Teen India Guyana 2019.
In addition, the evening will see several dance routines performed by members of the Ishara Dance Troup; Nachgana Academy of Dance; Jewan Ka Nritya; Miss India Guyana 2018 Bollywood Diva winner, Oma Singh; and Artie Sookhai Khelawan. The emcee for the evening will be the glamourous, Joel Ghansham.
