Once again, head of the IKD, 9th Dan Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai brought a high level entourage to Guyana and the YMCA.
His wife, 8th Dan Shihan Maureen Woon-A-Tai, Vice-Chairman of the IKD and 7th Dan Shihan Bernice Hughes accompanied him on this visit along with their twin grandsons for the extremely important grading exercise.
To start the day off there was 153 students awaiting examinations. The tensions were high with some obviously well hyped up while others were very nervous especially among those taking Black Belts exams.
Graciously Shuseki Woon-A-Tai allowed the White, Yellow, Orange and Green Belts to leave after their exams was over. However, He gave them their results, made Presentations and took photographs before they left.
After a short break the examinations continued with the higher levels until all was completed.
Dan Diplomas was presented to 5 of the 8 Successful Students at the November 2017 exams.
Shian Amir Khouri and Shian Jeffrey Wong was presented with their Masters Dan Diploma after being successful at their 7th Dan exams in November 2017.

Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai’s trip continues with Intensive Instructors and Judges Training Sessions at the GKC and ASK-G YMCA until he leaves on Tuesday March 6, 2018.
Chairman of ASK-G, Sensei Amir Khouri 7th Dan expressed heartfelt congratulations to all of the students who were successful at the grading exercise and thanked instructors Roger Peroune and Patrick Gurahoo (YMCA), Clinton Moriah (New Amsterdam), Hazrat Ali (Albion and Blairmont), Laurence Lowe (GKF), Parmeshwar Persaud (Land of Canaan) and Mahadeo Ramotar (GFK) for their dedicated efforts.
