A Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara woman was crushed to death by a truck on Water Street, Georgetown.
Dead is Doreen Haynes. In a video of the accident that was released, the woman can he seen talking with a canter truck driver and almost to the center of the road and the truck was seen maneuvering the traffic. 
The canter was parked obstructing the flow of traffic with its hazard lights blinking. It was when the truck attempted to pass the canter it left side rear end squeezed the woman between the canter and the truck and subsequently dragged a short distance away. The left back wheels of the truck ran over the woman’s body. She died at the scene.
