Excitement continued in the Youth Basketball League on Tuesday, May 6, as teams clashed at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) on Homestretch Avenue for Game Day Six of the Geo City Regional competition.

North Georgetown Secondary delivered a commanding performance to defeat St Joseph’s High 30–12 in the opening matchup.
Leading the charge was Player of the Game Lamount Hamer, who produced a solid all-round effort with eight points, six rebounds and three steals. His defensive intensity and presence on the boards set the tone early for North Georgetown.
Alex Peniston provided strong support with six points and six rebounds, while Omari Barrington also chipped in with six points to help secure the comfortable victory.
For St Joseph’s High, Adoniah Langhorne stood out with seven points and three rebounds, accounting for more than half of his team’s total scoring output.
In the second encounter, Tutorial High dominated Christ Church Secondary 32–8 in a one-sided contest.
Julian Charles delivered a standout performance, pouring in 20 points and grabbing three steals to earn Player of the Game honours. His offensive efficiency and defensive pressure proved too much for Christ Church to handle.
Andrew Yhap contributed eight points and three steals, adding further momentum to Tutorial High’s relentless display.
Christ Church’s Jadel Liverpool managed four points in the loss.
The Geo City Regional tournament continues to receive strong corporate and institutional backing from Edward B Beharry Ltd, G-Boats Inc., the National Sports Commission (NSC), the Ministry of Education (MoE), and Banks DIH Ltd.
With the competition heating up, fans can expect more thrilling matchups as teams continue their quest for regional supremacy.
