6 to vie for Miss Crane title on November 5

On November 5, Crane Village, on the West Coast of Demerara, will come alive as six beauties clash head on to win the coveted title of Miss Crane 2016. The delegates aged 14-21 were chosen from various sections of the 8village with the task of showcasing their respective areas. untitled-1
The delegates are Odella Flower, 17, and a former student of Richard Ishmael Secondary School; Ronella Evans, 20, a call centre representative; Shaskea Garraway, 17, a student at the University of Guyana pursuing a degree in Economics; Jamela Holder, 17, a former student of Leonora Secondary School; Davie Jittah, 18, a former student of Vreed-en-Hoop Secondary School and Sheniza Garraway, 19, a former student of Vreed-en-Hoop Secondary School.
On pageant night, the delegates will compete in several segments including introduction, presentation platform, evening gown and intelligence.
The six young ladies are presently undergoing rigorous training to get their walk, stance and gracefulness intact for pageant night. Apart from the pageant, there will be several dance troupes to entertain the audience and more, a special Guyanese artiste is expected to serenade the delegates.
The emcee for the pageant is a popular pastor in the area. No entrance fees will be charged but barbeque and beverages will be on sale. Music for the pageant will be provided by Ghost Rider and Stereo Sonics.
Xtra Energy deejays, Skinny Hype and Platinum will be in the house. After the pageant, there will be the after party. The pageant is promoted by Sceon Swan.
