The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) hosted a high-level leadership workshop on Saturday at its boardroom as part of its ongoing implementation of FIFA Forward Programme 3.0, FIFA’s flagship development framework aimed at strengthening governance, inclusivity, and sustainability within national football associations.

The workshop was led by the Rights of the Child Commission and engaged regional executives from the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) and the Georgetown Football Association (GFA).
Discussions centred on advancing gender equality in football leadership, strengthening child protection mechanisms, and embedding inclusive governance practices in line with FIFA standards.
The session was facilitated by a constitutional commissioner sitting on both the Women & Gender Equality Commission and the Rights of the Child Commission, Nicole Cole.
