Albouystown teen on remand for armed robbery

Nineteen-year-old Samuel Forde of Albouystown, Georgetown was on Tuesday remanded to prison when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan on an armed robbery charge alleging that on December 8, 2018 at Charlestown, while being armed with a knife, he robbed Patrick Paul of jewellery, cash and other items to a total value of $183,000.

hospitalised with head injuries inflicted on him by Forde, requested that Forde not be placed on bail.
The Chief Magistrate upheld the prosecution’s submission, and remanded Forde to prison until January 2, 2019.
