Blake maintained that while the last two weeks have been mainly about the final phase of “direct training”, the boxers have been going well thus far.
Asked about their readiness for the competition, the coach said both boxers are in the high 90s in terms of readiness percentage. He warned that both fighters will be giving their all, and will strive to do their best at the games. And he noted that the main goal is to achieve the number one podium spots and gold medals.Keevin Allicock will be competing in the flyweight division, while Christopher Moore will fight in the lightweight division. Both fighters have already gained regional acclaim as they both performed admirably at last year’s Caribbean Development Boxing Tournament.
