“ART OF WAR” 2018 DJ competition launched

Empire Media Inc is moving apace with plans to host its annual marquee event, titled “Art of War” 2018 DJ competition.
The “Art of War” will be fiercely combatted by six of Guyana’s best DJs for a chance to win $1 million, the title trophy and bragging rights. This event will take place on July 28, at the Sports Hall tarmac, Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown.
The deejays competing in the competition are “Magnum” out of the West Bank of Demerara, “Platinum” out of Georgetown, “Delly Ranks” out of the West Coast of Berbice, “Nico” of Berbice, “Spotlight Sound” out of the mining town of Linden, and “Turf Teacha” out of the Essequibo Islands.
The objective of “Art of War” is to continue to promote and sustain the art form of sound clashing in Guyana in the most dynamic manner, while at the same time putting local selectors and deejays on the map both, regionally and internationally.
The competition was launch on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at The Garage Bar and Grill, Aubrey Barker Road, South Ruimveldt Gardens, Georgetown. There, the competing deejays promised to entertain their fans to the fullest while at the same time playing it clean.
Their eyes are not only on the $1 million prize but also the bragging rights for the year. For more information on the competition, go to Facebook page Empire Media Inc.
