Atlantis CC steamroll Suburbia SC in Busta Lawrence Premier League fixture

In a Clement Busta Lawrence Premier League (2021) match played over the weekend at the Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, NY, Atlantis Cricket Club brushed aside Suburbia Sports Club in a one-sided affair.
Atlantis CC won the toss and elected to bat. The side featured players of Guyanese heritage such as Randall Wilson and the much-known Guyanese players Winston Forrester and Ronaldo Ali Mohammad, who all starred in the action-packed fixture.

Winston Forrester chipped in with a quickfire 23

The 40-over fixture got off to a cracking start, as Forrester and Wilson opened the batting. The pair found the boundary with ease as the Suburbia side failed to find their line and length.

His opening partner Wilson continued to keep things going as he showed a touch of class and aggression in every aspect of the game. Wilson continued to find the boundary, and was ably supported by Dimitri Adams.

Ronaldo Ali Mohammad chipped in with 41* and 2-14

When Adams departed for 97, Wilson continued to do his thing, in the end scoring a brilliant 151 off 127 balls, inclusive of 8 boundaries and 9 maximums.
The show was far from over, as Mohammad then came and finished things off with a brilliant 41 off 22 balls, which included 2 boundaries and 3 maximums, to have the Atlantis side post 345-4 in their allotted overs.
