Barber busted with cannabis during Police operation

Charges will soon be laid against a barber after he was busted with a quantity of cannabis on Sunday during a Police operation at Tuschen Public Road, East Bank Essequibo (EBE).
According to reports, a mobile Police patrol was in the area when ranks observed the man standing in the vicinity of the car park acting in a suspicious manner.
He was approached and a request was made for him to be searched. During this activity, five transparent ziplock plastic bags – each containing a quantity of ganja – were discovered.
He was arrested and taken to the Leonora Police Station, where the suspected cannabis sativa was weighed in his presence and amounted 11 grams. The barber remains in custody pending charges.
