Captain Darius Pearson provided the main resistance with a quick 24 from 15 balls, while Jonathan Barry contributed 18 and Jamari Rose added 11. Extras also played a significant role, contributing 14 runs to the total.

Charity’s bowlers shared the workload effectively. Javon Ramdunhar led the attack with figures of 3-14 from four overs, while Jeral Gildharie and Brandon Perreira claimed two wickets each. Ranveer Kewall also picked up two wickets as Anna Regina failed to bat their allotted overs.

Jeral Gildharie added 19, while Brandon Perreira remained unbeaten on 14 to guide his team over the line.
Anna Regina’s bowlers kept the contest alive despite the modest target. Darius Pearson returned figures of 2-28, and Tyrese Stephney claimed 2-20, while Vidal Narine and Mark Daniels took one wicket each. However, Charity benefited from 22 wides during the chase, which eased the pressure as they steadily worked towards the target.
The victory gives Charity Secondary a winning start in the Zone One competition and a place in the next round, while Anna Regina Secondary’s campaign comes to an end after a closely contested opening encounter.
