The search is on for a 13-year-old girl of Woodley Park, West Coast Berbice, Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice), who disappeared from her grandmother’s house after an altercation ensued between the two on Saturday.
Missing: Christina Krisendat
Christina Krisendat was last seen at about 21:00h.
According to her grandmother, Lucile Ramoo, she has been caring for the child since the age of three. Earlier that day, Krisendat and her grandmother had a confrontation over some money and the teen disappeared later that night. The woman is pleading with persons to contact the nearest police station if her granddaughter is spotted anywhere.
“We search and didn’t find anybody. The last I see her was the same Saturday. I didn’t see her back. I went to the police and Sunday I went back but we didn’t hear anything,” the woman recalled.
The grandmother insisted that the teen has never run away from home before.
Anyone with information about the missing teen is asked to contact the nearest police station.
