Former Guyana Youth batsman Dominique Rikhi, who commenced his cricketing career as a member of the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTY&SC) in Region 6 (East Berbice/ Corentyne), has now earned selection to the national cricket camp of the United States of America in Houston, Texas.

Meanwhile, USA Cricket has been pleased to announce the new panel of national selectors for the USA Men’s National Team. After a review of the role, structure and composition of the National Selection Panel towards the end of last year, USA Cricket invited applications for the roles of national selector. All applications were carefully considered, and following a comprehensive process, five selectors were appointed to the panel, with two of them (Michael Voss and Amer Afzaluddin) continuing in the role to ensure some steadiness.
The five persons appointed to the National Selection Panel are: Michael Voss, as Chair (2 years); Amer Afzaluddin (2 years), Orlando Baker (3 years), Clayton Lambert (3 years), and Niraj Patel (3 years).

The talent camp, which would feature 26 players, would be run with the following twin objectives, as explained by
new Chairman of the Selection Panel, Michael Voss: “The talent camp in Houston has been specifically designed to give the selectors the best possible options ahead of the crucial ICC Cricket World Cup League series next month in Fort Lauderdale.
“On this occasion, it is an invitation-only camp, where we have invited a group of players for whom the primary purpose will be to spend three days together working on fitness, fielding skills, and match-specific scenarios.”
In related matters, the recruitment process for the next men’s head coach is nearing completion.
