Better Hope hosting East Coast Jubilee Fiesta softball cricket

All roads lead to the Better Hope Community Centre ground on Sunday December 11 for East Coast Jubilee Fiesta cricket competition. The softball cricket action will be the highlight of day two of the weekend of music and sport organized by the B.E.S.T. Family Entertainment along with Craby and the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA).

There will be two categories of competition; males and females with $300,000 cash up for grabs plus trophies. The male winners will pocket $150,000 and the winning trophy with $75,000 going to the losing finalist. The female champion team will receive $50,000 and a trophy with $25,000 going to the runner-up team.
Interested teams must contact Wayne Jones on 685-6908 or 650-1790 for registration and rules of the competition. All male teams will pay an entrance fee of $15,000 while the female teams will pay $5,000.
After the cricket finals the organizers have a massive closing party planned with performances from Kwesi ‘Ace” Edmondson and Poonam Singh and music by some of the country’s top music sound systems.
