Players from BHS control the passage of play in their last game against QC

The Bishops’ High School will be high in confidence after disposing nemesis Queen’s College last weekend but will face their toughest test to advance to a new territory in the five years of the tournament. The Carmichael Street based school who have never made it past the quarterfinal stage fancies their chances today as inspirational captain Imran Khan who have played in the tournament since its inception, has been exceptional.

Other than Khan, Keiron Niles and Mark John are some experienced players who are expected to come to the party as well.

For Sir Leon’s unit the talented Adrian Aaron and company will be a great threat as he has been in terrific goal scoring form.

The other encounter will have an unbeaten Morgan’s starting as favourties against an inconsistent Carmel unit. However, the formers have the ability to spring a surprise and upset.

Thirty-two secondary schools are competing for the $500,000 first prize; while second, third and fourth placed finishers will pocket $300,000, $200,000 and $100,000 respectively – money that will go towards a school project.
