Blue Water Shipping U15 Girls Football – Waramuri Secondary victorious in Moruca sub-region

Waramuri Secondary continued their impressive run in the Blue Water Girls Under-15 Inter Secondary School Football Competition after securing the Region One (Moruca) sub-region title following a series of commanding performances on Saturday, May 16.
Waramuri stamped their authority on the competition with back-to-back victories to clinch the championship and advance to the next stage of the tournament. In their opening encounter, Waramuri defeated Kwebanna Secondary 3-0 behind a double from Shenesa Thomas, while Breanna Henry added the other goal.
They followed up with another dominant display, defeating Santa Rosa Secondary 2-0 to confirm their place as regional champions. Breanna Henry and Darwina Boyal each found the back of the net in the victory.

Earlier in the tournament, Kwebanna Secondary edged Kamwatta Primary Top via penalty kicks following an entertaining 2-2 draw at the end of regulation time. Kaziah Peters and Ishana Sampson scored for Kwebanna, while Chaney Wilson netted both goals for Kamwatta.
Santa Rosa Secondary also tasted victory in the next round of matches after defeating St Nicholas Primary Top 2-0. Leah Rodrigues and Alia Cyprian scored one goal each in the win.
Waramuri Secondary will represent the Region One sub-region of Moruca in the next stage of the Blue Water Girls U15 Inter Secondary School Football Competition.
