Body found in Soesdyke house still unidentified

The body of a Rastafarian which was discovered late last month in a Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara (EBD) house is yet to be identified.

The Police are yet to positively identify this man, only known as “Derick” and “Black Boy”

The man whose only name has been given as “Derick”
and “Black Boy” was discovered on April 26, 2019, at around 09:00h.
According to the Police, the man who resides alone, was last seen at around 18:30h the previous day by a neighbour as she was leaving for work.
However, the following day, the woman discovered the man’s lifeless body. At the time, the deceased was cladded in only dark blue pants. He is described as being five feet, nine inches tall and dark in complexion.
Presently, the body remains at the Lyken Funeral Home awaiting proper identification.
