“Boss man, is me thing” – Lindener tells Police in ganja bust

A man is now in Police custody after he was busted with 42 grammes of marijuana at Co-op Crescent Mackenzie, Linden, Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice). According to the Police, the 45-year-old man was caught with the illegal substance on Wednesday after ranks searched a bag he was carrying.

At the time of the search, officers were responding to a report of an alleged wounding committed at the location. The marijuana was found in a white plastic bag. The suspect was told of the offence committed and cautioned, to which he replied, “Boss man is me thing, whatever is in there belongs to me and is for my personal use”.
He was arrested and taken to the MacKenzie Police Station pending charges. (G1)
