Director of Prisons, Gladwin Samuels this morning reported that four men are on the run after they escaped from the Holding Bay of the Lusignan Prison, East Coast Demerara.
Among the four men are two murder accused.
They have been identified at Anthony Padmore, 26, of Ogle Street, Beterverwagting, ECD who was serving a three-year sentence for trafficking in cannabis; murder accused Kenraul Perez, 26 of Mabaruma, North West; Sasenarine Bisnauth of Lot 22, Tuschen Housing Scheme, East Bank Essequibo, who was charged with robbery under arms; and 32-year old Ganesh Dhanraj of Facade, Parika, who was charged with murder.
Police are currently looking for the men.
