Finance Minister Dr Ashni Singh this evening announced $33,000 for pensioners during his Budget 2023 presentation.
This year’s budget is themed, “Improving lives today, building prosperity for tomorrow.”
In 2021, all old-age pensioners were given $25,000 on a monthly and in 2022 that sum was increased to $28,000.
This he noted will place an additional $4.4B of disposable income in the hands of over 73,000 old-age pensioners.
