Capital FC, Milerock FC set for Summer Cup finale

Milerock Football Club (FC) and Capital FC secured their places in the final of the Linden Summer Super Cup following contrasting semi-final victories, setting up an exciting showdown on Saturday, August 29.
Milerock FC booked their place with a narrow victory over Pdey All Stars, with Tyrese Lewis scoring in the opening minutes to give his side an early advantage. The goal proved decisive as Milerock held on to secure a place in the championship match.
The second semi-final between Capital FC and Botofago FC ended goalless after regulation time, forcing a tense finish to the encounter.
Capital FC were subsequently awarded a late decision that put them on the verge of securing their place in the final. However, the match was halted following unsportsmanlike conduct from Botofago FC.

Capital FC were eventually awarded the victory, earning their place in Saturday’s championship showdown against Milerock FC.
The final, scheduled for Saturday, August 29, will see Capital FC and Milerock FC battle for the coveted title.
Meanwhile, Botofago FC and Pdey All Stars will meet in the third-place playoff, giving both teams an opportunity to finish the tournament on a winning note.
With Milerock advancing through a hard-fought semi-final and Capital FC overcoming a controversial ending, all eyes will now turn to Saturday’s final for the crowning of the Summer Super Cup champions.
