Anticipated to be one of the biggest gospel concerts ever to anoint the Guyana National Stadium, this evening’s event featuring Travis Greene and his band out of the United States of America will indeed bring blessings to those who come out to worship and celebrate the Lord. The event is the most talked about concert for the past few weeks and it all comes down to one grand evening.
Greene is an American gospel musician and pastor who started his musical career in 2007 with the release of “The More” via Greenelight Records.
He has since released two studio albums, “Stretching Out” in 2010, “The Hill” in 2015, and an extended play, Intentional in 2015.
Greene’s third album crossover “Live from Music City” will be released in 2018. His music has charted on the Billboard magazine Top Gospel Albums and the Top Gospel Songs charts and he has been nominated for multiple awards, including two Grammy Awards and 13 Stellar Awards.
However, this evening, he will be joined by Guyana’s own Saiku; Sherwin Gardner; Emrand Henry; Kester D; Cassandra Keise; Samuel Medas; Cherlyn Maloney; Sean Sobers; Nicasey Abrams; Yonnick Adolph; Eon Greaves and Mass Choir among others.
Advance tickets for the event cost $2000, while at the gate patrons will pay $3000 and $5000 for the VIP experience. Part of the proceedings will be donated to Hope is Rising Charity, Love Guyana.com.
