Berbice, it’s finally here! One of the most exhilarating chutney shows is set for Saturday evening at the Berbice Family Fun Park (Feroz Service Station) at Number 6 Village, West Coast Berbice. The artistes are arriving this evening and the party will start.
The show titled, “Chutney-Soca Fete” will feature Pritivi Bheem out of Trinidad and Tobago. She is known for one of her most popular hits “Sham Sundar”, which has taken the Caribbean by storm.
The show will also feature some of the best Guyanese in the business. These include reigning Chutney King Bunty Singh; former Guyana Chutney Monarch, Pooran Seeraj; 2018 Chutney Monarch finalist, Steven Ramphal and veteran in the game, Cecilia Samaroo.
Also taking the stage will be Ganesh Kasinath, AW Lyrical, Vicardi Singh and Guyana’s number one crossover band, Shakti Strings Orchestra. Adding some flavour to the event will be members of the Berbice Delight Dance Troupe and Diva’s Dance Troupe.
In addition, the fabulous and glittery Joel Ghansham will be in the house as the emcee of the proceedings as well as “Party Boss” WR Reaz and Selector Andy. Advance tickets cost $1000 and more at the gate. VIP tickets will also be available.
