CPL reassures fans of more tickets for playoffs & finals

Following a promise made last week, that more tickets for the playoffs and final of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) to be played in Guyana would become available, CPL has moved to reassure fans in Guyana that this plan is on stream, and tickets will become available soon.

CPL CEO Pete Russell

An announcement from CPL on Monday indicated, “This second batch of tickets for sale very soon as Hero CPL looks to meet the unprecedented demand for these historic matches. The details of when these tickets will be available will be announced very soon, with extra availability coming for the Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2 and a limited amount for the final.”
Additionally, in an exclusive interview with \Evening News Sport, CPL CEO Pete Russell confirmed extra tickets would be on sale in Guyana soon.

Hero CPL 2022 tickets will be available at the 233-234 Camp Street Box Office

“We will be getting back on sale in a few days. With tickets, you know, we had to pause obviously because the demand was extraordinary,” Russell shared.
He further stated, “It’s really just the message to get out there, that there will be tickets for sale in the next few days. So, that’s exciting, hopefully, for the local fans.”
Tickets for the playoffs and final went on sale in Guyana at the 233-234 Camp Street Box Office on August 4, and were completely sold out by August 9.
CPL has revealed that it would be using its anti-fraud measures to ensure more tickets become available for the games here. Based on accounts from persons on social media, it can be confirmed that this exercise has been ongoing, with persons who made excessive orders from one payment option having their orders voided by CPL.
The Hero CPL begins on August 31 in St. Kitts and Nevis, and would head to Guyana from September 21 to 30, 2022.
