Dave’s West Indian Florist & Groceries backs West Indians Over-60s for World Cup

Dave’s West Indian Florist & Groceries has joined the West Indies Over-60s Cricket Team as a kit sponsor for the IMC Over-60s Cricket World Cup, which will be played in Canada from August 9 to 23, 2026.
The sponsorship was announced by the Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA), which said the support will assist the team as it prepares to represent the region on the international masters cricket stage.
CWIMA said the backing from Dave Narine and his businesses is another strong show of support from the West Indian business community. Dave’s West Indian Florist is located at 114-07 Liberty Avenue, South Richmond Hill, New York, and serves the area with floral arrangements, gifts, and West Indian products.
Narine was also recognised by CWIMA as a consistent supporter of sport in the community, particularly senior cricketers who continue to represent the West Indies.
“This support means a great deal to the players and the organisation,” said Roy Singh, secretary of the Cricket West Indies Masters Association. “Masters cricket continues to grow internationally, and sponsorships like this help ensure that our players are properly supported as they prepare to compete against the best Over-60s teams in the world.”
The West Indies The over-60s squad will be Captained by Zamin Amin. The squad also includes Narine Bidhesi, Anthony Boyle, Rajendrasammy Chetana, Deonarine Deyal, Rajendra Dilraj, Harry Narain Heeralaa, Fareed Hosein, Steve Linton, Ken Mayers, Hafiz Mohamed, Victor Patrick, Keith Seale, Shivnath Seeram, Anthony “Tony” Small and Balwant Roy Singh.
Raj Singh will serve as manager of the team, while Alexio Daley will travel as physical therapist.
CWIMA said it is looking forward to a strong showing from the West Indies Over-60s in Canada and thanked the sponsors, supporters, families and cricket fans who continue to support West Indies Masters cricket.
