Delivery man robbed of motorcycle at gunpoint

A man attached to a popular delivery service was Monday evening relieved of his XR motorcycle bearing registration number CJ3 worth $450,000 by a lone gunman at Delhi Street, Prashad Nagar, Georgetown.
The robbery reportedly occurred at about 20:30h.
Based on information received, on the day in question, the victim was making some deliveries in the area. However, he stopped his motorcycle to make a call to one of his customers to request directions. It was during this stop that a lone gunman approached him and asked “who you looking for?”.
As the victim was about to answer, the suspect whipped out a handgun from the waist of his pants, pointed same at him and ordered him to come off the motorcycle. He complied.
The suspect then rode off with the motorcycle in the direction of the Railway Embankment. As such, a Police report was made and an investigation was launched.
The Police reportedly made checks for the suspect but he was not located. Several persons in the area were questioned but no substantial information was received.
Investigations are ongoing.
