Twenty-eight-year-old Shivarnie Persaud, a domestic worker of Jib Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), was on Tuesday slapped with larceny by clerk or servant.
She appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Tariq Mohamed and was not required to plead to the indictable charge. As such, she was placed on $500,000 cash bail and will make her next court appearance on May 12, 2026.
