The finals of the competition which was highly anticipated by members of the community and as such received an excellent crowd support, was conducted by Coach Lloyd Smith and Danella Barrow.
In the Under 13 category, the youngsters put on an impressive show by going neck to neck with each other. Eventually it was West Side Ballers who defeated Golden Star by one goal.
Moving up to the Under 15’s, it was Eastvill who emerged victorious over East ballers. Anton Vasconcellas and Brian Burette scored for Eastvill whilst the lone goal for East Ballers came off the boots of Casion Warren.
The Under 17 category proved to be the most thrilling with La Warriors restricting Texas Warriors from scoring. Shemar King was the star of the team, netting both goals.
At the presentation, Chairman of the Georgetown Single Women HEMP association Ms. Timbi Hendricks urged the youths to always be disciplined, respectful and committed to the sport and their educations.
