Twenty-nine-year-old Shenil Nedd from Charity Back Street, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) was on Wednesday granted $300,000 bail on a felonious wounding charge.
Police stated that on Saturday, September 5, 2026, she committed the act on Shorleen Nedd at Charity Back Street, Essequibo Coast.
She appeared before Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, where she pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to her.
As such, she was granted bail with the conditions that she does not interfere with the victim and reports to the Charity Police
Station every Friday until the determination of the matter.
