Banks Softball League 15/15 Knockout Tournament…
The highly anticipated Essequibo Zone of the Banks Softball League 15/15 Knockout Tournament will kick off tomorrow with the preliminary stages commencing at 09:00 hrs.
The first set of matches will be played at the Affiance Number 1, Reliance, Walton Hall and Queenstown grounds. The preliminary stages will then continue on May 5 at the Affiance Number 1 ground and at the Pomona and Reliance grounds. The semifinals and finals well then be held on May 12 at the Affiance Number 1 ground.
This competition will feature 32 teams vying for top honours. The winner of the competition will receive $150,000, while second place will pocket $100,000; third place will settle for $50,000; and fourth place bags $25,000. All prizes are inclusive of trophies which were provided by Trophy Stall.
Entrance fee is ‘buy three cases of Banks Beer’. Admission is free.
