Farfan and Mendes supports expansion of autism foundation
While Farfan and Mendes this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, the company hosted a “Discounts for Donations” promotion to honour its years’ long commitment to the Step by Step Foundation.

promotion which allowed for customers to pledge donations to one of the company’s charities and in turn, benefit from discounts on the purchases at any of its dealers, nationwide.
The contributions accumulated from this initiative were on Friday presented to the Step by Step Foundation as means of supporting the expansion of the institution.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony on Friday was the proprietor of Farfan and Mendes who outlined the objectives of this undertaking.
He explained that the “Step by Step Foundation is one of the organisations we’ve been helping since 2012. Autistic children and addressing those issues is not one that is always in the mainstream here but we felt strongly, this was something we wanted to support to give these kids a best opportunity for a brighter future.”
On that note, the businessman went on to say, “We’ve been supporting Step by Step by funding education for one child every year since 2012.”
Meanwhile, on the receiving end was Chairperson of Step by Step Foundation, who thanked the company for their much needed contribution.
Moreover, she underlined the operations of her organisation, thereby emphasising the need for sponsorship and other forms of assistance.
The leader of the organisation pinpointed that over 40 special need students are awaiting accommodation at her institution and as they are currently working on expanding their facilities.
The Step By Step Foundation currently houses 18 special needs students and provides a unique, personalised programme to aid in the development of children living with autism.
