FIRE FEST for Sports Hall tarmac this Saturday

Coming off of one of the biggest events in the dancehall arena on local shores, Empire Media Inc (EMI) is keen on building on the momentum of the resurgence of sound culture and the dancehall industry in Guyana.
The recent Art of War DJ competition that was held in July was just a step in the direction that EMI intends to take the entertainment/dancehall industry.
To this end, EMI will stage its third event called “Fire Fest” which is billed for October 29, at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall tarmac. fire-fest
Fire Fest is a dancehall event which will provide revellers with a fiery concept by encouraging and promoting the use of lighters and fire sprays.
The event promises to create a unique picturesque setting throughout the night. Both local and international DJs and sound systems combine will ignite and blaze a musical fire like never witnessed before on local shores. It will be fire in the sky!
Blazing the fire will be international DJs Nasheen Fire from Florida and Fire Fox featuring female DJ phenomenon MC Lady Love from New Jersey.
They will share the stage with Guyana’s finest in the dancehall, which include Art of War champions Platinum and Skinny Hype, Selector Face and Seen Up, Killer Feelings and DJ Dellon and Selector Charlie. Early juggling will be provided by Determine Sound.
Tickets for the event cost $1000 and will be available at Nigel’s Supermarket Depot, White Castle Fish shop, Gumdac Music House, Corner Kick Restaurant and Bar, Hot and Spicy Creole Corner and Rubis Gas Station (Mandela Avenue).
