Former regional chairman volunteers with Bartica football academy

Former Chairman of the Region Seven Democratic Council, Gordon Bradford, has been giving of his time and talent by volunteering at the grassroots sessions of the Bartica Football Academy Training Centre every Saturday morning. Sessions are held at the Bartica Community Centre Ground.
Bradford, who served multiple terms as head of the Regional Administration, was in his younger years also a talented footballer, specialising in goalkeeping. Impressed by the work of the Academy Training Centre, he has been repeatedly returning to assist Technical Development Officer Curtis Joseph.
The Bartica Football Academy Training Centre is run by the Bartica Football Association with support from the Guyana Football Federation, and it caters to youths from the grassroots levels to under-17.
