Forrester slams aggressive century in BCL in USA

Guyanese Winston Forrester has slammed a 49-ball 123, which included nine sixes and 12 fours, in the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) being played in the United States of America. It has led his team, Royal Friends, to a 165-run win over the Vipers.

In this match, played at Drew Park, Royal Friends won the toss and opted to bat first, posting 250-6 in their allotted 25 overs. Vipers, in reply, ended their innings on 85-6 in 23.2 overs.
Asad Roman fell for a duck, but Forrester and Ashan Riaz (78) added 147 runs together. Jaber Ahmed claimed 3-48 in six overs.
In response, Vipers never got going, and were reduced to 19-2 in 4.4 overs. Dalim Ahmed and Rumel Ahmed top-scored with 32 runs each, but the chase never got going when the match ended, and that by the DLS method.
Sumon Islam, Ashan Riaz, Shopi Ahmed, Saifuzzaman Tanim and Forrester each took one wicket.
