For the third consecutive year, GEM – Guyana’s premier lifestyle magazine, is on a quest to find the cutest babies in Guyana through its much anticipated Cutest Baby Photo Contest.
This year is no different as the magazine is collaborating again with the top international baby brand, Pampers, which is distributed by ANSA McAL Guyana, to hold the 2016 edition of the contest.
The contest which was started in 2014, has shown considerable growth and popularity since then, as a multitude of parents continue to submit photos of their bundles of joy each year hoping to be featured on the cover of GEM or inside the magazine as one of the finalists. All 10 finalists also receive marvelous hampers and other gifts.
To be eligible, a child must be a resident of Guyana and 18 months of age or younger. No purchase is necessary.
Interested parents are required to submit a recent high quality photo of their child along with the following information: the baby’s name, date of birth, gender, birth weight, favourite toy, favourite baby food, parents’ names and Godparents’ names to [email protected].
Finalists will be chosen based on poise, quality of picture, completeness of the required information and the most ‘Likes’ from the Facebook phase of the contest. Each child will be judged by a closed panel of judges comprising of representatives ANSA McAL and GEM.
