The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) continued its national talent identification programme over the weekend with a scouting exercise in the Rupununi Football Association.
National Coaching Pool coaches Delon Williams and Levi Braithwaite led the exercise, assessing young players from across the area as part of the Federation’s efforts to identify and develop future national footballers.
The initiative forms part of the GFF’s wider plan to strengthen the national player pathway by giving promising players from different regions an opportunity to be evaluated.
The scouting activities also allowed the national coaches to observe the players’ technical ability, physical development and overall potential.
The GFF thanked the Rupununi Football Association, coaches, players and other stakeholders for supporting the programme and helping with the search for the country’s next generation of football talent.
