An East Ruimveldt, Georgetown man was attacked by two gunmen and robbed of his two gold chains, cash and his cellphone.
Reports are Ray Juandoo was walking along Phase 2, East Ruimveldt, at around 22:14h when the men pounced on him.
This newspaper was told that the two armed men approached the 23-year-old from a westerly direction, exited a silver Toyota Premio motorcar and pointed a gun at him.
As one of the gunmen held Juandoo at gunpoint, his accomplice relieved him of his two gold chains valued $220,000, and an iPhone 6+ valued $186,000. The men then calmly re-entered the motorcar and made good their escape.
Juandoo raised an alarm and the Police were called to the scene. An investigation has been launched.
