Team Guyana has advanced to the knockout stage of the FIFAe Continental Championship for North and Central America and the Caribbean after finishing second in the group stage in Mexico City.
The Guyanese team, represented by Christian “christian89” Harris and Jeremiya “jrboss2000” Johnson, did enough during the preliminary phase to secure a place among the teams progressing in the Concacaf competition.
With their group-stage campaign successfully completed, Harris and Johnson will now turn their attention to the knockout rounds, where Guyana will continue its bid to earn a place on the international stage.

The team is being guided by Martin Massiah, who serves as head coach and head of esports. Daniel Idal is the assistant coach, official streamer and media operations lead.
Guyana’s second-place finish represents an important step in the competition, but the team will need to maintain its focus as the matches become more demanding in the knockout phase.
The campaign continues in Mexico City as the Guyanese representatives aim to build on their encouraging group-stage performance.
