Hemp Fest Concerts this weekend at 3 venues

The Hemp Fest Concerts kicked off on Thursday evening at the Anna Regina Community Centre Ground and will continue with three big shows this weekend.
On Friday, August 16, the concert will be taken to the Mackenzie Sports Club Ground, Linden, then on Saturday, August 17 at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara. The final show is billed for Sunday, August 18, at the Albion Community Centre Ground, Berbice.
The show is expected to be epic as several international and local artistes are on the cast. These include Edwin Yearwood out of KrosFyah, International Reggae artiste Mr Easy, Chutney singing sensation Rakesh Yankarran, Former Trinidad Chutney Monarch Omardath Maraj, International Soca King Soca Raja, Guyana Soca sensation Adrian Dutchin, Chutney Queen Drupattie, Soca Sensation Militant, NY’s Chutney Queen Geeta Bisram and Guyana’s own Nesta Nelson.
Other performers include: Angel’s Frontline Singer, Dexter M; Mr Bollywood Jumping Jack, Danny B; Berbice star and Mystic. All the artistes will be accompanied by the Angle’s Caribbean Band. Master of Ceremony for the shows is Farouk Juman. Tickets cost $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000 for general admission, while those who want to experience the VIP experience will pay $25,000. Tickets will be sold at the venues.
